After years of using makeup and loving for my skin to always look flawless, I have found several foundations that are very affordable, but yet keep my skin looking healthy. These foundations stay on for many hours as well.
I have always had shiny skin ,but have always preferred the matte look. Now, after testing, maybe 50 makeup foundations, I am satisfied with the several that I have found....
My # 1 choice ~~ RIMMEL Lasting Finish 16 hr -
This foundation is amazing, however there is one tip that really must be followed. Rimmel Lasting Finish must be applied to your skin quickly upon being squeezed out of the tube. It gets hard fairly quickly. But once on your face and evened out, it will last all day. After applying Rimmel lasting finish, I put Cover Girl loose powder with the puff over my face for that complete Matte finish.
#2 ~~ Maybelline Mineral Power Super Silky Foundation. -A soft silky feeling foundation.
#3 ~~Maybelline Dream Matte Mouse- Nice feeling, fully covering foundation. Maybe a little heavy for the summer months, but will cover any marks on your face and stay on.
#4 ~~ Cover Girl Tru-Blend Foundation- Soft Foundation that completely blends in leaving no noticeable makeup streaks
#5 ~~ Rimmel Cool Matte 16 hr - Another Excellent Rimmel product. Stays on and has strong matte coverage. However, this 16 hour Rimmel foundation hardens very quickly upon leaving the container and must be smoothed out on the face a quickly as possible.
Important to me as well when it comes to Foundations is the blending factor and all of these have that. They DO NOT leave your face a different color than your neck.
Because, I like the Matte finish, I usually use the Cover Girl Loose Powder with the puff to finish off the application.
Working 15 hours a day plus, I never have to worry about these makeup foundations caking up or rubbing off or sweating off or just coming off leaving my skin not to look as flawless as I prefer it.
Another great thing is that Rimmel, Covergirl and Maybelline are not only available at Sephora or at Ulta, but also at mass retail and drug stores for low prices.
